Ilyas Consultancy: a clearer path from advice to enquiry
Business-card concept for Ilyas Consultancy. Digital material study; final production is subject to approval.
When someone is looking for help with immigration, family matters or debt, clarity matters. They need to understand who can help, what support is available and how to start a conversation.
For Ilyas Consultancy, I connected those steps through website refinement, a multilingual experience and a clearer route to contact. The work brought together deployment, measurement and a business-card concept that carries the identity beyond the screen.
Making the practice easier to understand
Based in Antwerp and available for remote consultations, Ilyas provides legal and socio-legal guidance across immigration, family law and divorce coaching, and debt mediation.
The website brings the practice together through a homepage and three dedicated service pages. Visitors can learn about Ilyas, explore the support relevant to them and open a consultation panel with phone, email and an embedded booking calendar.
The experience supports English, Dutch, French and Arabic, including right-to-left presentation for Arabic. The aim is simple: help people understand their options in a language they feel comfortable using.
Small refinements, a clearer journey
Client feedback shaped the language throughout the site. I refined the description of Ilyas’s expertise and updated the family-law service wording to reflect his work in divorce coaching.
Clearer “Read more” links help visitors move from a service overview to the detail they need. Contact options sit together in the consultation panel, making the next step easier to find when someone is ready to reach out.
A dependable foundation
I organised the existing HTML, CSS and JavaScript website into a maintainable publishing workflow and deployed it through Vercel. The domain and email remain managed through Hostinger, with email routing preserved during the website setup.
This was a refinement and delivery project built on supplied source material. The existing client emblem and content remained part of the identity; my role was to bring the experience, delivery and measurement together.
Measuring meaningful actions
A visit is only the beginning of the story. I added Google Analytics events for consultation-panel opens, telephone-link clicks, email-link clicks and booking confirmations from the embedded Calendly calendar.
These actions need to be interpreted carefully. Opening the consultation panel shows interest. Clicking a phone or email link shows an attempt to make contact; it does not prove a completed call or a sent enquiry.
Consultation opens and email clicks were observed reaching Analytics during testing. Completed-booking tracking was implemented, but still needs a full end-to-end confirmation. Custom event parameters avoid sending visitors’ names, email addresses or booking identifiers.
I also connected Google Search Console, verified domain ownership and submitted the sitemap. This establishes a way to monitor search visibility over time, without claiming immediate rankings or attributing enquiries to search before the evidence is available.
From screen to introduction
The business-card concept extends the website’s deep blue, existing IC-and-scales emblem and restrained typography into print.
One side gives the identity space; the other prioritises the name, services, contact details and supported languages. A QR code links directly to the website, connecting an in-person introduction with the online experience.
The cards remain a design proposal. Final copy, materials, finishing and printer proofs are still subject to approval.

Design, delivery and measurement together
The project brought together a live multilingual practice website, a maintainable deployment workflow, contact-intent measurement, Search Console setup and a coordinated print concept.
The next step is to learn from real use: which pages attract relevant visitors, where people show interest and which enquiries become consultations.
For me, the value is in how the pieces connect. The website introduces the practice. The contact journey supports a conversation. Measurement helps assess that journey. The card creates another place for it to begin.
